Dr. Darria Long Gillespie
Dr. Long Gillespie trained at Yale and Harvard Business School, before becoming an Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She heads clinical strategy at leading digital health company Sharecare, is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee School of Medicine, and mom of two. Dr. Darria frequently appears on CNN, Fox News, Dr. Oz Show, and The Doctors, among others.
Evan Luzzatto
Evan Luzzatto serves as Chairman of Socialyte, a global influencer marketing business. Evan also serves as President and a member of the Board of Directors for parent company NSL Media Inc., managing its international licensing business.
Evan previously served as President for Nylon Media Inc., leading its digital media and licensing business through a period of rapid growth, resulting in a successful sale to Bustle Digital Group. Prior to Nylon, Evan worked in business development at Snap, where he worked on the team that built and scaled the Discover platform, overseeing the expansion of the platform in the UK, France, and Germany. Prior to Snap, Evan held positions at Instagram and Facebook.
Dinesh Moorjani
Dinesh Moorjani is a serial tech entrepreneur, CEO, and investor. He most recently served as Managing Director of Comcast Ventures, investing in and serving in a governance capacity on numerous technology startup boards. Previously, Dinesh was the Founder and CEO of Hatch Labs, where he founded nearly a dozen mobile enterprise software and consumer tech companies from ground up, including Tinder (NASDAQ: MTCH) in 2012.
Dinesh started numerous other software businesses, including Saffronart, a leading online Asian fine art auction house and global eCommerce marketplace, backed by Sequoia Capital. He cofounded Kleverbeast, a no-code SaaS application development platform, and Monet Analytics, a human sentiment AI analytics SaaS business, where he also continues to serve on the board.
Dinesh is presently an Eng-PhD student at Stanford University and a researcher in the Urban Informatics Lab, where he is focused on sustainability and climate change mitigation. Dinesh earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University and his MBA from Harvard.
Dr. Elizabeth Katcher
Dr. Katcher received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University and has worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, community mental health clinics, and college counseling centers. Her background includes a generalist training in a wide range of mental health issues and training in evidenced-based treatment for mood and anxiety disorders, PTSD, and eating disorders. Additional interests include life transitions and adjustments, family issues, interpersonal problems, body-image, and infertility.
Paul Glass
Paul Glass, Vice Chairman at The Colony Group, has over 30 years of experience leading successful business management firms and providing business management solutions for major touring acts, singer-songwriters, recording artists, directors, producers, actors, and entertainment executives, many of whom have been his clients for 30 years. Paul has been listed as one of Variety’s Business Managers Elite.
He holds the CPA certification.
Dr. Marsha Elkhunovich
Dr. Elkunovich is with the division of emergency medicine at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in California and an assistant professor with the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. She received her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco.
Scott Cooper
Scott started his healthcare services career with Athenahealth and Nexus Healthcare solutions focused on building tech-enabled healthcare financial services coupled with offshore capabilities to help the businesses scale. As an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company he advised national health systems and RCM service providers on large-scale operational transformations and performance improvement programs. Currently, Scott serves as President of Amplify Health, the revenue cycle services division of Ovation Health, a shared services provider to independent and community hospitals and providers across the United States. He has his MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.
David Duben
David Duben is a certified public accountant and founding partner of Duben & Associates, an accounting firm in Los Angeles, CA that services individuals, businesses and non-profits. He has over twenty years of experience in business and public accounting holding senior executive roles at a Fortune 250 company prior to opening his accounting firm in 2014. He has also earned his M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Matthew Ward
Matthew Ward is a Partner & Associate Director in the Marketing, Sales, and Pricing (MSP) and Technology, Media, Telecom (TMT) practices, located at the Boston Consulting Group. He has extensive experience with Building and Scaling Sales Teams: Inside & Outside, Account Management, Enterprise Strategic Accounts, New Product/Go to Market, and International Sales Teams. He is a topic expert on Next Generation Sales and the Digital Sales Accelerator.
Lawrence Grey
Lawrence Grey is one of the most dynamic producers, making studio films with the top tier of Hollywood talent. He has a track record of box office successes and a history of working with the industry’s most accomplished filmmakers. Grey’s director collaborations include Ang Lee, Steven Soderbergh, David Yates, Sam Raimi, Judd Apatow, Darren Aronofsky, James Wan, Danny Boyle, Frank Darabont, Joey Solloway and Greg Berlanti, among others.
After an impressive career as a studio executive at Fox Searchlight Pictures, Universal, and Mandate Pictures, Grey launched his production banner Grey Matter Productions (GMP) with the mandate of a unique hands-on creative partnership with the talent.
Shlomy Kattan
An entrepreneurial, mission-driven, and visionary strategic leader, Dr. Shlomy Kattan has been leading organizations at the intersection of technological innovation and life-long learning for two decades. Currently, Dr. Kattan is an Executive Director at the XPRIZE Foundation, the global leader in designing and implementing large-scale innovation competitions to address humanity’s grand challenges. Dr. Kattan leads the Foundation’s Learning and Human Potential Domain.
Dr. Kattan holds a PhD and MA in Education, and a BA in Italian and Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was a Wenner-Gren Foundation Fellow and from which he graduated with High Honors and Distinction.
Dr. Erica Felsenthal
Erica Felsenthal, Ph.D, is a Clinical Neuropsychologist, Health and Safety Commissioner in Beverly Hills and a provider of UCLA Longevity Center’s Brain Bootcamp program. She believes in a holistic approach to health and wellness and works with individuals across the lifespan.
Dr. Felsenthal teaches research-based strategies to improve memory and other cognitive functions, manage stress and moods and provides concrete tools for a healthier brain and improved well-being.
Jennifer Smiley
Jennifer Smiley received her B.A. in Sociology from UCLA and her M.A. from Pepperdine University in Education. After school, Jennifer worked as a lead teacher at Brawerman Elementary for over 9 years.
Post teaching (and after taking a little time off to raise her two boys!), Jennifer’s interest and passion for fundraising led her to work for FTA Events and Consulting and other charitable endeavors. Jennifer drove the creation of a tribute journal and co-chaired two of the most successful fundraising events / auctions in the history of The Parent’s Association for the Nursery School at Mann Early Childhood Center. Jennifer also chaired the most successful auction in Curtis School history.
Jennifer’s work also includes support across organizations in the Greater Los Angeles Area that includes the Beverly Hills Firefighter’s Association, Beverly Hills Police Officer’s Association, Saving Carter – Cure Sanfilippo Organization, Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills, Tower Cancer Research Foundation, and Wilshire Boulevard Temple.
Emily Meyer
Emily Meyer grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from Tufts University 2005. For the past 15 years, she has been working as an author and Emmy Award-winning screenwriter and producer. Along with her partner, Emily wrote Step Up 2 The Streets and Step Up 3D as part of the successful Disney dance franchise. She also penned the indie feature Naomi & Ely’s No Kiss List, and created and wrote the TV show Trinkets on Netflix.
Dr. Laura Berman
Dr. Laura Berman is a leading expert in the field of sex and relationship therapy. She is a New York Times bestselling author of many books, including her latest “Quantum Love.” She is an award-winning radio host and has her own podcast “The Language of Love.”
Dr. Berman previously hosted her own program “In the Bedroom with Dr. Laura Berman” on the OWN Network, and she is a popular television personality who makes regular appearances on daytime television shows like “The Rachael Ray Show,” “The Dr. Oz Show,” “TODAY,” “Good Morning America” and many more. She is a frequent contributor to women’s magazines like Cosmo, Glamour and more.
Rafael De La Rosa
Rafael De La Rosa is the Assistant Vice President for Government and Community Relations at California State University, Northridge. Rafael plays a key role in leading important initiatives and programs that advance the university’s reputation, relationships and resources. He serves as CSUN’s lead ambassador to local community groups, as well as regional, state and national agencies and elected officials and their staffs. He also monitors key issues and legislation affecting public higher education in California, and educates the campus and the broader public on those issues.
Rachel Douglas
Rachel Douglas grew up in New York and later attended Washington University in St. Louis. After graduating, she started her career on Wall Street working as an investment banker at CIBC’s Media and Entertainment group in New York. After 5 years she moved to LA to join the Business Development group at CAA where she advised a diverse client base on strategy and growth in areas outside their traditional disciplines. After CAA she consulted for brands such as Target, eventually returning to talent representation as Manager and Partner at Range Media Partners. Her steadfast goal is to help elevate talent throughout the entertainment industry, specifically focusing on writers and musicians.
Ken Maxey
A California native, Kenneth E. Maxey II MPA, MIPCR, has more than two decades of experience as a community organizer and executive. In his corporate role and the Urban League, Mr. Maxey has partnered with nonprofits and technology startups to develop programs to end the digital divide in underserved communities. The San Francisco Sun Reporter recognized Kenneth for his leadership developing diversity, inclusion and equity programs. His Comcast NBC Universal portfolio includes co-producing the Comcast Newsmakers community show, Voices of the Civil Rights series (ex. SF Mayor Willie Brown), leading business projects and creating pathways for weekly discussions with key government stakeholders. Maxey is a recipient of numerous awards from his colleagues for his ability to be a Game Changer and Innovative Leader.
Mr. Maxey received his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Howard University, Master’s in Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University and Bachelors in Political Science and a Minor in Business from Notre Dame de Namur University. Education Foundation.
Emily Feit
Emily Feit is a Los Angeles native who received her undergrad degree at the University of Arizona and her Masters of Social Work from Yeshiva University in Manhattan. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a clinical emphasis on geriatric medical care, Emily has spent her professional career focused on the chronically ill.
Philanthropy and volunteering are pillars in Emily’s life. Emily and her husband, Alan, established the Feit 4 KidZ Fertility Loan Fund, a program of the Jewish Free Loan Association, in 2013 to assist in alleviating the financial burden of costly in-vitro fertilization treatments. Emily also recently published her first children’s book entitled Before We Held You In Our Arms which touches on the emotional journey of infertility prior to parenthood even beginning.
